About Richard Cheeseman

Richard’s background as a journalist and communications manager makes him perfect for his role writing and editing for Robert Taylor Communications’ most important clients.

Richard Cheeseman

Richard began his career as a journalist, working as a reporter and subeditor in the 1980s and early 90s, having trained with the National Council for the Training of Journalists. He moved on to business publishing, working for AB Consultants, before becoming communications manager for DERA, part of the UK’s Ministry of Defence. In the late 1990s, he joined ICO, the global satellite communications company, as communications manager, in charge of publications for print and the web.

This led to his final agency role, managing the editorial output of DPA Corporate Communications, a technology PR company. In this role he worked with major international brands such as Coca-Cola, Sony and Sun Microsystems.

This stood him in good stead for his work with Robert Taylor Communications, which he joined in 2004. Since then he has written and edited for all of our biggest clients, including the United Nations, the World Health Organization, Sky, Inmarsat, SABMiller and Marsh.
