Exclamation marks

Use exclamation marks only for genuine exclamations, such as “oh!”, “help!”, etc. You will hardly ever have to do this in writing for Taylor-made. Moreover, because almost any sentence containing an exclamation mark can be dramatically improved by removing it, you should find yourself able to go from one year’s end to the next without ever using this piece of punctuation.
